The Pentagon is probably face palming right about now thanks to Google Maps. A top-secret U.S. aquatic drone weapon is visible on Google Maps for anyone to see.

Satellite photos showing the Navy’s “Manta Ray” prototype went viral over the weekend. It’s docked at a naval base in California. The Manta Ray is produced by Northrop Grumman as part of a U.S. Navy project to develop long-range underwater weapons. It’s able to stay down on the sea floor for “very long periods” without needing to refuel.

The military isn’t commenting.
