ALT Pick Of The Week: Tenacious D Covers Britney Spears

Jack Black has confirmed that he covered Britney Spears’ hit song, “One More Time,” for the soundtrack of Kung Fu Panda 4… and ALT knows a thing or two about close encounters with Pandas.
Black and his Tenacious D partner, Kyle Gass, recorded the song at the suggestion of the film’s director, Mike Mitchell. The duo shot an impromptu music video for the track in Gass’s hotel room, which has since gone viral on the internet. Black expressed pride in the cover and excitement over its reception at the movie’s premiere. It’s this week’s ALT Pick.
“Britney, if you’re watching, I love you. I love the song,” Black told ET. Kung Fu Panda 4 is in theaters now…
