Ann Wilson Pays Tribute to Chris Cornell In New Music Video

When Ann Wilson released her latest solo album back in September, included on Immortal was a cover of Audioslave’s “I Am The Highway”.

The Heart singer told Alternative Nation that she decided to record the song because it’s her “favorite” of all of Chris Cornell’s work, especially because of the lyrics, which speak about “about dissatisfaction, and alienation, and someone who is just on their way.”

Wilson has now put out a music video for her version in tribute to her late friend. Later this month, the Chris Cornell tribute concert will be held at LA’s The Forum, featuring performances from members of Cornell’s former bands, plus Foo Fighters, Metallica and others.
