Attention Fanboys: Disney’s Looking for Stormtroopers

In what amounts to a once-in-a-lifetime dream job for Star Wars fanboys everywhere, Disneyland is holding auditions for Stormtroopers.
The new crew of First Order soldiers will populate the park’s newest attraction, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Candidates need to be between 5-10 and 6 feet tall and must exhibit “high energy levels,” according to the audition posting. They also need to be high school graduates who are at least 18 years old.
But Stormtrooper hopefuls should take note: If you think donning futuristic white armor will improve your social life, think again — the job requires cast members to work throughout the summer, including weekends and holidays. Auditions get underway on Friday.
