The album may not be ready in time, but Mark Hoppus will make sure fans get a taste of it before blink-182 hits the road later this month.
Speaking in a new interview, the singer-bassist reveals, “Absolutely. Before we leave for tour there are at least two more songs coming out and as more songs get released we’ll probably incorporate those into the set.”
Hoppus says the band doesn’t like to play unreleased material on stage, noting, “When I especially go to a show I want to sing along.” “When a band’s like ‘here’s a new song you haven’t heard yet,’ people are kind of like, interested but it kind of craters the whole set because everyone stops and listens and people just want to go and sing along and rock out and have fun,” he feels.
