Chester Bennington’s first band is taking another stab at fame and fortune by re-recording their old material. Only this time around, they’ve recruited the late rocker’s son to provide lead vocals.
The members of Grey Daze, who recorded three albums with Bennington before he found greater success with Linkin Park, have revealed they’re in the studio with Jaime Bennington. In a Facebook post, the band notes, “Chester would have been so very proud of his son Jaime Bennington. We had Jaime sing along with his father last night at NRG Recording Studios and his voice is great! Sounds a lot like his father and we were all very proud to be a part of it.”
The as-yet-untitled project will also feature members of Korn, Grey Daze revealed.
Do you think fans will be interested in hearing Grey Daze just because Chester Bennington’s son is singing?
