Chester Bennington’s Widow Announces Engagement
Two years after Chester Bennington took his own life, the widow of the Linkin Park frontman has revealed she’s getting married again.
Making the announcement in an Instagram post over the weekend, Talinda Bennington said she’s gotten engaged to an “Angel on Earth” who she identified only as Michael F. “I am here to tell you that you can find love after tragedy,” she wrote. “That a death of a soulmate does not mean the death of you. My family, friends, and my Linkin Park brothers welcome him to the family with open arms. I will continue to honor Chester and continue my life’s mission to make his passing not in vain.”
Chester Bennington, who had a history of depression and substance abuse, ended his life in July 2017. Afterwards, his widow started the 320 Changes Direction, an advocacy group to help battle addiction, to honor Bennington. She says she’ll continue her work with the organization.
