Chris Martin Performs Coldplay Songs, Covers David Bowie On Instagram Live
It seems Chris Martin has found the solution to two of the world’s biggest problems.
Earlier this year, Coldplay announced that they would not tour behind their latest record due to the impact hitting the road has on climate change. Now in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, most bands aren’t performing out either.
Taking to Instagram Live on Monday with a bunch of their songs and a David Bowie cover, the frontman launched “Together, at Home,” a series of concerts live-streamed on the social media site.
Teaming up with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Citizen, the plan is to raise $675 million for COVID-19 relief throughout the month of April. The next artist to grace the virtual stage will be John Legend.
