L.A. blues rockers Dirty Honey just pulled off something that’s never been done before – reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, despite not having a record deal.
Dirty Honey’s song “When I’m Gone” began climbing the charts after it was used as the official song for WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view back in July.
It’s the first time an unsigned rock band has reached No. 1. Dirty Honey is currently on tour with Alter Bridge and Skillet and will open for Gun N’Roses in Las Vegas later this year.
