Everclear Frontman Diagnosed With Multiple Sclerosis

Everclear frontman Art Alexakis recently revealed that he’s been living with multiple sclerosis.
In a post on the band’s website, Alexakis said he was first diagnosed three years ago after experiencing numbness following a bad car accident. He says he “can feel the disease slowly growing in me” and gives himself injections three times a week.
Alexakis, who is sober, says he’s going public because people see him stumbling or looking tired and think he’s back on drugs and alcohol. He assured fans that “I have not fallen off the wagon. I am just learning how to be the new me.”
