Before there was Nirvana, there was Nirvana. And it turns out Josh Kiszka is a fan of the former.
The Greta Van Fleet frontman recently shared on his Instagram story that he was listening to the track “Rainbow Chaser,” which is not by the Seattle rockers, but from a band that preceded them out of the UK.
It also turns out that the British Nirvana caused a bit of a headache for Kurt Cobain when the band was getting off its feet.
According to an ex-girlfriend of the late grunge icon, they were sued over the use of the name to the tune of fifty thousand dollars.
If you listen to Rainbow Chaser, you can definitely see where Greta gets some of their influence from.
Did you know there was another band by the same name? The Panda didn’t.
