Yes, Greta Van Fleet has heard your comparisons of the Michigan rockers to Led Zeppelin and they’d like people to move on.
Frontman Josh Kiszka sat down with Rolling Stone to discuss their current record, what’s in store next for the band, and why people can’t let go about their sound.
“Obviously we hear the similarity. That’s one of the influences of ours. But at this point it’s like, ‘Okay, we’ve acknowledged that. Let’s move on,'” Kiszka says, calling it “unfortunate” that critics continue to harp on them.
GVF, who just performed on Saturday Night Live, is currently working on the follow-up to last year’s Anthem Of The Peaceful Army, with Kiszka revealing, “We hope to get an album out this year.”
Is it lazy to keep using the same critiques as everyone else? Do the critics have a point?
