Greta Van Fleet Wins Best Rock Album Grammy
Rock music had a huge night on the Grammy’s with several bands taking home statues on Sunday. One of the newest acts to hit the scene nabbed an award right out of the gate following one of their first releases.
Greta Van Fleet’s full-length debut EP, From the Fires, won for Best Rock Album, beating out much more established stars such as Alice in Chains, Fall Out Boy, Ghost, and Weezer.
The Michigan rockers were also nominated for Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best New Artist.
Unfortunately, viewers at home may not have realized that rock bands were winning big at the ceremony as all in their categories were given out in the pre-telecast.
Do you feel rock music is slighted by these awards shows? Is failing to televise the rock winners a slap in the face of fans?
