Tenacious D Sets Release Date for Jack White-Produced Songs More than two months after announcing its completion, comic-rock duo Tenacious D has finally set a release date for their new two-song record. The seven-inch vinyl release, which will feature “Don’t Blow It” and “Kage,” will drop November 29th — on Record Store Day, according to singer-actor Jack Black. Both tracks were produced by the White Stripes’ Jack White in his Nashville-based Third Man Studios. During a Nashville performance in August, Black told the audience he and partner Kyle Gass had spent the day recording with White. At the time, he joked he joked that the Jack Black-Jack White collaboration would be called “Jack Gray.” Do you own a turntable? Why do some people prefer vinyl in spite of its many imperfections?
