Legendary Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. Survives Plane Crash
ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. – Retired NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his family were on board a plane that crash landed at a Tennessee airport Thursday afternoon.
A tweet from the driver’s sister confirms the crash and that Earnhardt’s wife, young daughter, and two pilots are safe. No word on their current conditions.
I can confirm Dale, Amy & Isla along with his two pilots were involved in a crash in Bristol TN this afternoon. Everyone is safe and has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation. We have no further information at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

TMZ reports the plane is a 10-seat, twin engine Cessna Citation Latitude registered under Earnhardt’s JR Motorsports. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
