Middle Teacher Hospitalized After Students Prank Her With Bananas

A middle school art teacher in Ohio had to be taken to a hospital after students pranked her with bananas – to which she is deathly allergic.

Police say a group of students smeared banana peels on the door of her classroom and threw bananas at her in class.

The teacher went into anaphylactic shock within minutes and had to be given and EpiPen and taken to a hospital.

Officials say students knew about the teacher’s allergy and that a “Banana Free Zone” sign was posted in the classroom.

Three students were put on probation in juvenile court.
