Papa Roach Writes ‘Anthemic Songs That People Can Relate To’
Papa Roach is coming up on the 20th anniversary of releasing Infest. What has kept them in the spotlight for two decades? Their bassist has a few reasons.
Sitting down with the “Appetite For Distortion” podcast recently, Tobin Esperance says it’s because they make sure not to repeat themselves when writing new music.
“We’ve always naturally wanted to write anthemic songs that people can relate to and sing along to and remember,” admits Esperance, who adds that their live show and ability to tour with anyone keeps fans interested.
Releasing their tenth studio album, Who Do You Trust?, earlier this year, Papa Roach will head out across North America with Five Finger Death Punch this spring.
