Paramore Is Back To Playing “Misery Business” In Concert

Paramore had stopped performing Misery Business back in 2018. The reason was simple: Hayley Williams found the lyric “Once a whore, you’re nothing more, I’m sorry that’ll never change” troubling, and anti-women. Saying that it came from a “very narrow minded perspective.”

The band performed the song for the first time over the weekend at their show in California, with Williams stopping in the middle to talk to the crowd (about 2:30 in) about retiring the song, and bringing it back.
