Queens of the Stone Age Go To Prison
Queens Of The Stone Age Prison Photos Revealed
Inmates at San Quentin prison were treated to a special performance by Queens of the Stone Age last year, but fans are only now finding out how that show went.
Following in the tradition of other icons like Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana and Metallica, the band packed the Protestant Chapel with the prisoners and proceeded to rock them with songs such as “Winter Time,” “The Way You Used to Do,” and “Go With The Flow”.
Photos from the November 16th event have just surfaced, showing Josh Homme and company playing under red fluorescent lights. Closing out the 45-minute set, the band, of course, paid tribute to The Man in Black, which seemed to go over well.
Does having shows like these put inmates and the bands in danger?
