Red Hot Chili Peppers are Down Under for their first time in a dozen years. And while the tour’s kick off over the weekend was a bit rough, reports say on the next night, they were back to old form.
At Sunday’s show in Hobart, the California rockers debuted a new song, which fans compared to their older, John Frusciante era sound.
Reviews for gig were mixed on the band’s sub-Reddit, with some noting that it took two hours to get drinks, water was lacking, and there was a ban on clapping.
However in Sydney, the UK Daily Mail reveals concertgoers went wild, calling the show “epic” and “amazing.”
