Smash Mouth Tells Straight Pride Parade Organizers to ‘F*** Off’

Amidst the various activities and events that are being held to celebrate Pride Month, a group of Boston residents have announced plans to stage a “Straight Pride” parade. And the members of Smash Mouth are definitely not on board.
After learning of the planned event, the band took to Twitter to express their opposition to the parade, writing, “Straight Pride Parade????? F*** OFF!!!!!”
While not exactly a well thought out argument in support of their opinion, the message nonetheless appears to have hit home with fans. Within a day, the tweet had amassed more than 100,000 likes and 40,000 retweets.
