System of A Down drummer John Dolmayan told Avenged Sevenfold’s Johnny Christ in an interview that he’s frankly “not proud of a couple of shows” that his band has recently performed.
Calling System’s method of producing a road crew “half-assed”, Dolmayan added that because the band didn’t practice much and had a “skeleton crew” he wasn’t proud of System’s recent performances. “We employ people for three to four weeks, which means we get who’s available rather than who we want to work with long-term.” Dolmayan confessed.
While specific concerts weren’t named, Loudwire points out that System only played a handful of shows like Sonic Temple and Chicago Open Air this year.
Do you think that System of A Down will ever get it together to produce a full album or tour?
