Planned protests in Portland for Saturday started right on time about 11 A.M.

Members of the Proud Boys marched from a location on the east side of the Willamette River across the Morrison bridge to Waterfront Park.

Once there the group prayed and then the leader announced to the crowd that they were going to “waste resources”.  Saying he was throwing Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler a “curve ball” and had a second location for their rally.

The group moved again across the Hawthorne Bridge, which had been closed since 4 a.m., back to the eastside just before Noon.
