If you’ve never heard of Belly, you missed out on a small beautiful blip in the 90s. They only made two albums, Star and King, but in my book, they’re two of the best albums that came out of 90s alternative and grunge. You may recognize the lead singer: that’s Tanya Donnelly. She co-founded Throwing Muses and was part of The Breeders with Kim Deal. She’s kind of a rock legend.

Belly released a new album in 2018 and went on tour. This Panda wants more from this short-lived group. “Superconnected” comes from their second album King and it’s one of my favorites.

Check out “Mine” from Dove, released last year.
