Tool Warns Fans: Keep That Cellphone In Your Pocket

Planning to catch Tool on tour? Better leave that cell phone in your pocket. The band is giving fans advance notice that recording video – or even taking pictures – will get you kicked out of their concerts.
A Reddit user passed along an email sent to ticketholders ahead of their show in Cleveland, warning that fans who whip out their phones “will be ejected from the show without the opportunity to return and without a refund”.
Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has long complained that phones “demystify” the show and keep fans from living in the moment.
