Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan just gave fans another update on when the band’s eagerly anticipated sixth album will drop – sort of.
Keenan says the band is “midway through mixing” and expects the album to drop “somewhere between Mid May and Mid July”.
That’s a bit later than drummer Danny Carey predicted last month, when he said the album would be out in ‘mid-April’.
In the meantime, Tool is booked for some festival dates in May followed by a European tour in June.
Are you still holding out hope that the Tool album will be released soon? What other albums are you looking forward to this year?
