Weezer has been putting out music for 25 years, just recently celebrating their 13th studio album earlier this month. Has their longevity caused fans to drop off?
That’s a complicated issue says bassist Scott Shriner, who notes the fans are still passionate about the alt-rockers.
Shriner, who joined the band in 2001, reveals they don’t dwell on reaction to a release, but rather, “Once an album comes out we’re on to the next thing, we’re already excited about the next project.”
“To me, as long as they’re thinking about us, that’s (freaking) rad,” admits Shriner.
Are you on one side of the Weezer divide? What’s your opinion on their earlier vs later works?
