Weezer Performs Barbershop Version Of “Buddy Holly”

Weezer’s original music video for “Buddy Holly” in 1994 was a throwback to yesteryear, famously parodying the hit TV series Happy Days. On Tuesday, the alt-rockers took the song even further into the past.
Teaming up with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Weezer performed the Blue Album track in the style of a barbershop quartet… plus a few extra members in matching suits.
The latest music video from Weezer, “High As A Kite,” dropped last week and keeping with the band’s classic TV show themes, it’s inspired by Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
Also to come from Weezer, the Black Album, gets released on Friday.
What else would you like to see Weezer do at this point in their career?
