On Wednesday, the rock world gathers to pay tribute to the late Chris Cornell at The Forum in Los Angeles. The star-studded affair will also mark a reunion between the surviving members of Audioslave, which Cornell once fronted.
But who can fill his shoes? Alternative Nation takes a look at just who will be in attendance at the “I Am The Highway” concert and suggests some possibilities.
Perry Farrell will be there, as well as Faith No More singer Mike Patton.
There are also a few singers who have experience handling vocal duties on Audioslave songs, including Taylor Momsen from The Pretty Reckless and System of A Down’s Serj Tankian, who sang “Like a Stone” with the band in 2017.
How do you think the band will handle the music without Cornell?
